The individual book pages were designed
to evoke the look and feel of Chronicle's print catalog, an essential piece
of Chronicle's existing marketing sytem. Elements like related titles, reviews,
could virtually browse different titles.
The homepage was designed to be an editorial “magazine,” with
new excerpts featured weekly.
